The Corrency system and the kyjov.corrency.cz website (hereinafter „the website“) is being operated by the company I, FOUNDATION, s.r.o., with seat at Balbínova 223/5, Vinohrady, 120 00 Praha 2, Identification Code: 01816705, inscribed in the Commercial Register conducted by the Municipal Court of Prague with Section C, Insert 212130 (hereinafter „I, FOUNDATION“ or „we“) which also acts as personal data controller.

The Corrency system is a system of efficient money distribution by use of a currency adjustable convertibility (so-called Corrents). I, FOUNDATION provides Corrents to specific natural persons (hereinafter „Beneficiaries“)within the Corrency system. The Beneficiaries can subsequently put Corrents to use at goods sellers and service providers who participate in the Corrency system (hereinafter „Merchants“).

I, FOUNDATION puts great emphasis on protecting the privacy of all-natural persons participating in the Corrency system or vising our website (hereinafter „You“) and pays attention to protecting their personal data. Your personal data are being processed in accordance with binding legal regulations, especially Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (hereinafter „Regulation“).

These principles have as objective to inform you how we can process your personal data, especially on their categories, extent and the purpose which they are being processed for as well as on persons your personal data are being transferred to. You will find here information on your rights in relation to processing your personal data as well.

By providing your personal data to us, you accept these principles and acknowledge that we can process your personal data in the way described hereunder and for the purposes shown hereunder. If you do not agree with these principles, please do not provide your personal data to us.

What are Personal Data

Personal data is any information on the identified or identifiable natural person such as name, place of residence, email address, telephone number or IP address.

What Personal Data of Yours Are We Collecting and How Do We Use Them

I, FOUNDATION collects only such personal data that you provide to us voluntarily or which we acquire in connection to your participation in the Corrency system, by means of our website or by means of written or phone communication with you.

You do not have any legal obligation to provide your personal data to us, providing your personal data is voluntary in full. However, we cannot conclude a contractual relationship with you without your personal data being provided and you will not be able to participate in the Corrency system. Likewise, we will not provide you with news or other services of ours (not at all or in the required quality).

If we require your consent for processing your personal data, you are entitled to refuse to give this consent or to revoke a consent already given. Nevertheless, revoking consent will not affect the legitimacy of processing during the period before its revocation.

If you are a Beneficiary, please acknowledge that personal data provided within your request for participation in the Corrency system will be subject to automatic processing. This processing is necessary for the purposes of deciding if you fulfil the criteria for participation in the Corrency system and if we can conclude a contract with you. Your personal data are automatically processed also during a transaction at a Merchant. In this case, our system checks if you are a participant in the Corrency system and if you have enough Corrents on your account to carry out the transaction. Your personal data are being processed automatically for this purpose for reasons of the efficient functioning of the Corrency system. Your personal data will not be sold or leased to any third party.

Safeguarding and Period of Keeping Your Personal Data

We use strong physical, electronic, and administrative safety measures to protect your data against unauthorized persons and against illegal processing, casual loss, destruction, and damage.

Your personal data will be kept only for a period necessary for the purpose of their processing. If your personal data are being used simultaneously for several various processing purposes, we will be processing them until the purpose with the longer period of processing falls away. However, we will stop using the data for the purpose with the shorter period of processing as soon as this period expires.

To determine the period of processing your personal data, we use the following criteria:

  1. For purposes of concluding and performing a contract, your personal data will be processed till obligations of the respective contract expire or up to take a decision that the contract will not be concluded.

  2. For purposes of performing our legal obligations pursuant to binding legal regulations, your personal data will be processed for the period of the respective legal obligation’s duration.

  3. For our legitimate interests, your personal data will be processed for the period of the respective legitimate I, FOUNDATION’s interest duration. For purposes of protecting our rights, we will be processing e.g. your personal data even after the expiration of obligations from the concluded contract, more specifically till the end of the 5th calendar year after the expiration of such an obligation. In case of opening and continuation of judicial, administrative, or other proceedings where our rights or obligations towards you should be dealt with, processing will not end till the termination of such proceedings.

  4. If you give us your consent for processing your personal data for a certain purpose, we will be processing the personal data for the given purpose till the revocation of such consent (if we do not set a shorter period of processing while acquiring your consent).

  5. For direct marketing purposes, we will be processing your personal data till you express your disagreement with such processing (if we do not set a shorter period of processing).

Transferring Personal Data

For purposes of ensuring the Corrency system running, we will be transferring personal data of Beneficiaries to the Merchant where the respective Beneficiary uses his Corrents. Such Merchant will process personal data of Beneficiaries as a separate controller at his/her own responsibility. Please refer always to the respective Merchant with any possible queries on processing your personal data by the Merchant.

We will be transferring your personal data to public authorities as we are obliged to in accordance with binding legal regulations. These beneficiaries will be processing your personal data independently of us as separate controllers.

We will be transferring your personal data also to processing entities we have concluded contracts with on processing personal data (for instance IT or other services providers). On your request, we will grant you a current list of providers who are processing your personal data for us. Based on the legitimate interest of I, FOUNDATION, we can transfer your personal data to other companies within the I, FOUNDATION group, exclusively for internal administration purposes. On your request, we will grant you a current list of our group members with whom we share your personal data.

Your identification personal data will not be transferred to third countries outside the European Union or the European Economic Area, respectively. In the case of transferring other data than identification personal data to third countries, we will adopt appropriate guarantees to ensure that the data are processed following the Regulation, especially using standard contractual provisions. On your request, we will inform you if your non-identification personal data are being transferred to third countries.

Principles for Using Cookies

To improve our services continuously, our website is using cookies. These are short text files created by the web server and saved on your computer using the browser. If you return to our website, cookies will give us information on your previous visit and further information that our server saved on your computer.

We also use marketing cookies, both for marketing and re-marketing purposes. Thanks to these cookies, you can be addressed several times as our website visitor based on your previous visit and efficient coverage of our advertising campaigns.

Your Rights

In connection with processing your personal data, you are entitled to the rights following hereunder. However, some exceptions may apply to exercise these rights so that they may not exert in all situations. In case you exert your rights and your request is considered legitimate, we shall adopt the requested measures without unnecessary delay, in a period of one month at the latest (this delay can be extended in well-founded cases up to two more months).

  • Right to Information

    You have the right to be informed in a brief, transparent, comprehensible, and easily susceptible way on the manner of processing your personal data.

  • Right to Personal Data Access

    You are entitled to confirmation from us if the personal data concerning you are being processed or not and if they are, you are entitled to accessing these personal data (including related information) and their copy.

  • Right to Correction

    You can ask us to correct inaccurate personal data. You can also require completing incomplete personal data including submission of an additional declaration.

  • Right to Erasure

    You can ask us to erase personal data in processing on conditions set in Article 17 of Regulation. Please acknowledge that in some cases this right cannot be exerted and we can still keep your data.

  • • Right to Processing Restriction

    You can ask us in certain cases to restrict the processing being carried out (e.g. for the time of dealing with your objections).

  • • Right to Data Transferability

    You can ask us to transfer to you or to a third person the data we are processing in electronic form based on a contract or based on your consent.

  • Right to Consent Revocation

    If the personal data processing is based on your consent, you can revoke such consent at any time and thus prevent further processing for the purpose mentioned in the consent mentioned above. However, revoking your consent does not affect the legitimacy of previous processing.

  • Right to Raise Objection

    If we process your personal data based on our legitimate interests, you are entitled to object to this way of processing. We can demonstrate nevertheless that there are important justified reasons on our side for further processing. If your personal data are being processed for direct marketing purposes, you are entitled to object to processing these data at any time. If you object to processing for direct marketing purposes, personal data will not be processed for these purposes anymore.

  • Right to Submit Request for Remedy and Right to Enter Claim

    If you assume that your personal data are being processed in conflict with legal regulations, please contact us and we will remedy the situation without delay. This does not affect your right to enter a claim concerning the processing being carried out directly at the Office for Personal Data Protection.

I, FOUNDATION reserves the right to amend or complete these principles in case of need. We recommend checking these principles regularly so that you are informed of any possible changes. An updated version of these principles will always be at our disposal on our website.
